Terri Selting David is an author, artist, animator, curriculum and content creator, and most importantly, a storyteller.
Terri’s journey as a professional storyteller began in 1996 when she started her career as a character animator. Working on TV shows, movies, and video games, and even writing a comic book, she honed her skills in bringing characters to life on screen. Little did she know that this experience would lay the foundation for her future as an author.
In 2015, Terri co-founded a summer camp designed for girls (and other underrepresented groups) who love STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). This endeavor allowed her to empower young girls and nurture their love for creativity and problem-solving. As head of content development and curricula, Terri has written dozens of curricula, and created hundreds of projects to sow the seeds for a love of making and tinkering in her campers in the Renegade Girls Tinkering Club. During this time Terri realized her true calling as a fiction writer when she decided to take her projects fictional, and empower young girls with a sense of capability and pride in their own ability to solve problems. Since then, she has penned six full-length novels across two captivating series. Her dedication to crafting strong female characters, nuanced male characters, and engaging storylines sets her apart in the world of literature.
